Pseudo random numbers

This is my most "random" post yet.

Definition:

Pseu-do - [soo-doh], adjective;

1) not actually but having the appearance of; pretended; false or spurious; sham.

2) almost, approaching, or trying to be.

What are pseudo random numbers?

They are generated usually by a computer with the use of complex algorithms, they are pre-determined in the sense that a particular sequence could repeat it's-self if you waited long enough.

However, they are still random in the sense that you couldn't predict the next number in a sequence unless you knew the algorithm.

What are true random numbers?

True random numbers can-not be generated by a computer, computers only do what the computer programmer tells them to do, they follow a set list of instructions and can-not behave in a random way.

True random numbers are not pre-determined and will not repeat themselves no-matter how long you wait (unless by pure chance).

Random roulette:

If you play RNG roulette, then the numbers you see are generated by a computer and are pseudo-random.

Questions for yourself:

1) Was the RNG game of roulette that you just played "fair"?

2) Can the pseudo nature of the game be used to your advantage?

3) Would you consider playing "live roulette" online?

Answers by myself:

1) Personally I think it is fair for the casino, because I couldn't predict the numbers. but I'm unsure as to whether it was fair to me as a player.

2) No, I'd have to wait around for weeks on end to try and learn the number sequence. The sequence is so long that I would probably die of old age before it repeats.

3) Yes, I already do, it just seems that my roulette systems work better in live roulette.
